Maureen Grant, CCE is an award-winning picture editor whose work has screened internationally to acclaim. She takes pride in being part of projects that are changing and challenging onscreen representation, and is a trusted collaborator to numerous directors.

She has received three Canadian Screen Awards, including Best Editing in TV Comedy (SORT OF) and Best Editing in Web Program or Series (I HATE PEOPLE, PEOPLE HATE ME and MY DEAD MOM). In 2022, she won the Directors Guild of Canada Award for Best Editing - Movies for Television and Mini-Series (STOLEN BY THEIR FATHER), and is a seven-time nominee of the Canadian Cinema Editors Awards.

Her feature film work spans genre, from character driven films to horror and comedy. PYEWACKET (TIFF 20217) was ranked amongst the year's top horror films internationally. FITTING IN premiered at SXSW 2023 and TIFF 2023, winning Best Canadian Feature at the Vancouver Film Festival 2023. THIS PLACE premiered to acclaim at TIFF 2022 and has screened internationally. The Tubi original feature SIDELINED: THE QB AND ME was in the top five streaming films in the US upon release, and has topped lists internationally.

Recent television credits includes the Fox / Sony anthology series ACCUSED, the Tubi original comedy The Z-SUITE and the upcoming season of Fox medical drama DOC.

Maureen is an alumnus of the Canadian Film Centre's Editors Lab and the Berlinale Talents Lab. She served as the Events Chair of the Canadian Cinema Editors for three years, organizing EditCon. She serves on numerous juries, mentors emerging talent, and is on the advisory committee for the Canadian Academy's Women in Post program. She is the co-founder of Queer In Post, a community based organization for 2SLGBTQIA+, gender diverse, and non-binary creatives in film and television post production.
